2024 Projects

An Expanded Service Garden: At Field 7 on Tony Andrews Farm, volunteers will be growing food for donation to the Falmouth Service Center.   This year's Service Garden will be four times the size of the one we grew in 2023!  Volunteer days and times to be announced.  Contact our Farm Manager Jeny: jeny@farmingfalmouth.org

Farmland Conservation: working with a landowner to purchase and preserve an agricultural parcel. Read about our Race to Save Farmland here.

Growing Together: Continuing a hands-on series of educational workshops for home gardeners, homesteaders and small scale farmers. All of our workshops are filmed, and edited for access on our YouTube channel and on FCTV. 

Community Orchard on Tony Andrews Farm: Learn holistic orchard care with Jeff Silcox and the Apple Corps. Work days are scheduled once or twice a month.  Contact info@farmingfalmouth.org

Pawpaw Grove on Tony Andrews Farm: volunteers tend the tiny young trees, weed and water. 

Share Your Bounty: gardeners bring surplus produce to the Falmouth Farmer's Market on Thursdays, dates to be announced, for donation to the Falmouth Service Center. 

Gleaning: a summertime team harvests weekly for donation to the Falmouth Service Center. Contact info@farmingfalmouth.org

Falmouth Food System Assessment: With grants from the Woods Hole Foundation, Farming Falmouth was able to conduct a series of surveys in 2022, to learn more about the strengths and weaknesses in our local food system. Results of these surveys will be published in the spring of 2024.
