Hooray for the Gleaners!

Through the summer the gleaners have provided a total of 1215 pounds of produce to the Falmouth Service Center. They have delivered radishes, turnips , green beans, kale, eggplants, tomatoes, chard, onions, garlic, basil, and carrots.

Join the gleaners.

Gleaning will contine through October and takes place at Pariah Dog Farm in Teaticket once a week. What is gleaned depends on the needs of the farmer and what crops are in season. The time commitment is about 2 hours a week.

Contact us to put your name on the gleaner’s list. Be sure to include your phone number. You’ll get a text each week with information. Join as often as you are able.
