Meet Jeff Silcox — August 28
Jeff Silcox has volunteered to be our Orchard Steward. He's been taking walks, and taking notes there since the earliest days of spring. Jeff tells us it's about time to bring a group together to apply a little Tender Loving Care.
Join us in the Community Orchard on Andrews Farm, Sunday August 28 in the cool of the morning, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Our list of To Do's:
1) pull crabgrass & other weeds,
2) fence maintenance, and
3) minor pruning and clipping trees to their wires.
Jeff will bring wheelbarrows and buckets. Volunteers will need their gloves, pruners, weed diggers and plenty of water.
