Saving the Land that Feeds Us — April 27

Thursday, April 27th, 5:30-7pm
at the Museums on the Green

Falmouth’s history — and its future — is connected to the land. This special event — hosted jointly by the Museums on the Green and Farming Falmouth — will take guests behind the scenes and into Falmouth’s agricultural past to view the Museum’s collection of farm tools. Drinks will be served with a flight of appetizers, many with a local twist. Guests will hear from farm and conservation leaders about the urgency of saving farmland before it’s lost forever  — and learn about a bold new plan from Farming Falmouth to conserve land and support a new generation of farmers.

$125 per person includes tour, talks, drinks and appetizers. Please purchase tickets online; space is limited.

Special Guests:

  • Anne-Marie Runfola, President, The 300 Committee

  • Mark Robinson, Executive Director, The Compact of Cape Cod Conservation Trusts

  • Karen Schwalbe, Executive Director, The Massachusetts Farm Bureau Federation

  • Brittany Overshiner, Upswing Farm
